ASME

South Gate Engineering holds and maintains an A.S.M.E., Section VIII, Division I, "U" stamp for fabricating unfired pressure vessels in Chino, California. South Gate Engineering also holds a "R" stamp which allows for repair to A.S.M.E. pressure vessels both on site and in the field.

Engineering

South Gate Engineering's talented engineering staff can help size your tank or vessel to meet your process requirements while providing the most economical solution. Our design calculations are performed using the latest state of the art software. Fabrication drawings are developed using Auto Cad 2007. Design/Seismic calculations can be provided with an engineer's stamp affixed and can be provided from an engineer registered within the state of your installation.

Repair and reconditioning

South Gate Engineering offers full service repair or reconditioning of pressure vessels and tanks. South Gate Engineering will assess a particular tank or vessel for repair or reconditioning, perform the welding repair, replace any required parts, perform non-destructive testing to verify the repair and finally, will paint and line either the repaired area or the entire tank or vessel at the owners option. Extensive repairs need to be performed in house; please contact our sales department to determine your repair or reconditioning options.

Transportation

Let South Gate Engineering arrange for shipping! South Gate Engineering can deliver on its own truck within the Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino and Riverside areas. Small tanks, vessels and structural components can be shipped by common carrier. South Gate Engineering also utilizes several prime suppliers on a daily basis who can provided lifting, loading and transportation services for both legal loads and for extremely large or heavy oversize loads.
